WaterAid fundraising
Year 5 at Selby Abbey Primary School have been very busy fundraising for WaterAid.
As part of their Young Leaders award they helped raise money for WaterAid, to provide toilets for whole communities in developing parts of the world

Year 5 were lucky enough to visit Brayton High School for a French theatre performance.
The skills included: Comedy, mime, french music, juggling and unicycling!

Happy World Book Day!
Happy World Book Day from The Whizz Kids!
Today we started by playing a game with characters from different books. We had to think carefully about the questions we asked to determine which character we were!
In Literacy we then used the iPads to create a short animation using an avatar. Here we describe our favourite books and who we would recommend them to. Take a look at our recommended books:
